I had booked myself in for an Indian body massage. The massage lasted 1h10, it was a very soft and relaxing whole body massage. I came out restored. I would definitely recommend this treatment to anyone who needs some TLC!

That doesn't mean excellent. We have been going for quite a few years now. You go knowing what to expect. I have read through a number of the write ups and I can understand the reviews. Hopefully, this will help. Its a grand old hotel, with charm, clean, good food and a good spa package. When the sun is its a sun trap. A good location. If you want a relaxing time its the place to go. A short walk to the town. A nice view from the restaurants above ground. If you feel claustrophobic the better place to be for dinner. The general restaurant is a little dingy. The decor hasn't changed in 16 years! There are plenty of things for the kids to do with a water sports club next door.

In reality ...blink when you are in the room and yes, you could not be mistaken to believe that you are in a hilton. The waiting staff are polite but a little sloppy. The food looks good but taste is a little hit and miss. Wine is fine and a good selection. The spa package is great. Over the years, the machines have taken over. less of the personal touch, which I am sure some will prefer. The recent waiting staff could do with some training.

As far as deals are concerned. There are none. What ever they say everything is full price. Be careful of the charges; everything is an extra charge. Its very expensive.

Be sure to book for dinner and ask to be seated in a certain place. You might end up in 30 degree heat on the terrace or close to the corridor, next to screaming children. Not often but when they do scream I must say much better behave than english children in the UK restaurants.

As with everything its what you make of it. Good to get away but an expensive get away!

We have dined here several times, both for lunch and dinner.
Each time, it is a memorable experience, with the finest attention to details from the multiple staff members, the menu choices and the very high quality cuisine.

Word to the wise: don't forget to bring your swimming cap as it's obligatory. Otherwise, you'll be forced to purchase one on the spot for 3 or 4 euros.

After a full day of sight-seeing, we decided to relax at the thermes by doing the Aquatonic pool circuit, which is basically comprised of a vast pool of warm seawater with different underwater jets in different places, as well as access to the hammam, sauna and ice fountain. For 32 euros per person, we thought it was pretty expensive for what it was, especially as the pool is shared with many other people and you basically have to wait for your turn to try out different jet settings (and inconsiderate people who just don't wanna budge from their places) and there's virtually no way you can try or follow the full circuit (unless the place is deserted). The ice fountain was interesting, though probably reserved only for those brave folks who don't mind covering themselves with ice immediately coming out of the sauna.

Not sure I would do this again at that price.
