we went for thalasso . it is very well organized and works like a swiss watch .

people participating are very quite . you go to relax . You will not hear mobiles ringing. most participants are french. Only an american couple was somehow “noisy”.

Room tip: Depends on the price you want to pay

My husband often stay here when returning to Jersey as we love everything about the hotel from the room, Thermes, Terrace for lunch, and the Cap Horn for dinner although it was not up to its usual high standard.

Action needs to be taken in relation to the seagulls. The squawking on the flat roof and on our window sill all afternoon until going to dinner was unbearable. We were far from happy when it commenced again at again at 06:00. I then opened the curtain to find one staring at me through the window. Perhaps some netting on the flat roof and something on the window sills would be a preventative. We have also experienced this on the window sills of the sea view rooms on previous stays.

눇We enjoy staying here en route back to Jersey and particularly enjoy the Thermes!

We stayed here as part of a bike trip to Normandy and Brittany in October. This appeared to be an old hotel that was completely gutted and renovated inside. They did a remarkable job. We had a room facing the roof of another part of the hotel, so it was like a view with negative charm. The rooms are on the small side, but average size for Europe. Well appointed, though. No matter, we were only there to sleep. If you're going to hang out at the hotel, be sure to ask for an ocean view. We loved the bar, since it faced the sea. The service there was friendly and attentive. On both nights a pianist played. Our only meal was a "group dinner" which was executed nicely. Food good, service, again, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a buffet with about everything one could want. Not sure if they did special orders, though.

The hotel is on the ocean boardwalk which almost stretches to the old city. Lots of places to sit and just people watch. Speaking of that, most appeared to be French or German, very few Americans. If you don't want to eat at the hotel, there are loads of restaurants within walking distance. The whole area seemed upscale and safe even at 11:00 at night. As noted, the old city is nearby and a 20 minute walk. If you must shop, you will not be disappointed. Definitely would stay here again.

Room tip: If you're going to spend time in the room, spring for the more expensive beach view.

I chose property for a week of thalassotherapy. It delivers what's on the tin: spa treatments with results in a beautiful, relaxing setting. Hotel and restaurant services are good, comfortable and friendly; spa treatments deliver results and therapists are skilled and deliver results. Despite some recent work, the spa environment is tired and the overall feeling is that attention to detail is required. For-instance the mags in spa go back to November 2014...

Room tip: Definitely choose an ocean-view room to enjoy the gorgeous view

When we arrived , our room was ready although it was noon. It was modern, spotless and sunny with a nice view of the neighborhood (205). We went straight to the Cap Horn restaurant and were given a window table overlooking the beach. From then it went from pleasure to pleasure. We enjoyed every single moment there and couldn't find fault. The staff is brisk and cheerful. You never wait! The spa is really nice and spacious enough. The Cap horn is worth the trip too. Sea food is brilliant and the menus are rich and so varied that at the end of four days we hadn't tried every dish we fancied.
The room and the hotel too were very quiet (rooms are soundproofed) although the hotel and the spa were quite full.
Saint Malo is just a 20mn walk by the sea. The hotel provides bikes and taxis are cheap (7€ one way trip).
We tried the Verrière restaurant. It's the same chef, an jaw dropping first impression but the difference with the Cap horn lies in the details, bye bye excellent Bordier cheeses, fewer oysters and so on. So unless 10€ is a lot, go for the CapHorn.

Room tip: Sea view rooms are gorgeous but the difference in price is noticeable. So we opted no and enjoyed 205, a corner room on the second floor.
