We popped into this restaurant from the pouring rain because we liked the look of the decor. Having settled down and browsed the menu, we were initially slightly disappointed that we had (inadvertently) chosen an apparently Italian restaurant in the heart of France. This was all to be forgotten when the food arrived! We all chose the menu du jour and it was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The starters were huge but beautifully presented (see photos below) and the main course was a choice between homemade tagliatelle with courgettes and gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and lashings of Italian ham. Both were wonderful. All this was complemented with a bottle of Argentinian Malbec wine (from Mendoza) which the maitre d’ reckoned was a great choice - where in France do you hear that! If you choose this restaurant for lunch, I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
