Duck, duck and more duck! Here you can have duck many ways, and it’s all very good. Confit duck, smoked duck, duck breast. The potatoes come with cepe mushrooms and are also very tasty. Sour kraut lovers will also be well served. Most of the tables are in the street outside but there are a few inside in case its raining. Service is by the friendly knowledgeable owners who blend Perigord specialties of the region with their Alsatian background.

Went for my sister's birthday. Just the 2 of us. We had the menu Perigord. Fabulous food all courses. The Magret de canard and confit de canard deserve a special mention. We opted for the trio of desserts as we wanted to try everything. Service was excellent and the couple running the restaurant were very pleasant. Wanted for nothing. Will most certainly go back.

Better, in fact, than at Le Fil d'Eau in Brantome the day before. Try the trio of home-made regional cakes - yummy. Delightful cafe and the gentleman gave me a good tip for best local fois gras to take back home for a true Frenchwoman.

Service was fine, but I was served a glass of wine that had clearly been opened for more than a few days. The owner did, however, apologize and quickly fixed the issue. The beans in the cassoulet were overdone and mushy and it was lacking sausage and any special flavor. Good. Not bad, not great.

My wife and I ate here on July 23. We enjoyed our meals well enough but little did we know. Within minutes of leaving the restaurant, we were both sick. I threw up in the street in front of the cathedral and my wife was worse off because she was unable to vomit. People in the neighborhood came to help us and eventually called an ambulance. We ended up spending three hours at the nearest ER. The hospital staff said it had to have been a sort of cheese fondue item that we shared.
