We tried to book by email from Canada but did not receive a reply. My husband called from Bordeaux and we were lucky to get a lunch booking on one of our requisite days. The warm welcome and great service made our meal very enjoyable! We started our meal with complimentary taramasalata, crostini, and olives. This was followed by a complimentary cream of asparagus soup/mousse with black garlic ice cream. We then enjoyed entrees of foie gras and langoustine ravioli, followed by the main courses of perfectly cooked lieu jaune and beef cheeks. Desserts were a strawberry pastry with an amazing basil sorbet and a chocolate hazelnut creation with pistachio ice cream. Our meal ended with complimentary mignardises. We were so full! Thank you for the wonderful dining experience! Highly recommend!

The restaurant offers good and fair French cooking without a crazy price tag. Lunch is even better value for money.

We ate here in October expecting a treat and were not disappointed. The restaurant is small but well proportioned and smart. The menus are excellent with a good choice as is the wine list. We opted for the 45 euro menu which was the right size for a nice lunch.

The meals were well executed and just on the right side of challenging for most albeit my wife's fish, risotto and fruit sauce may have fallen on the wrong side. Other choices including the duck and pork were excellent.

Service was good and efficient and the lady I charge had a good balance of professional and fun. The younger lady was a bit serious.

The wine list was extensive with a wide range of Choice and a fair price.

It's a place to go for certain on an autumn day to enjoy food of the season. I would go back for certain.

Eric Vidal is a great chef .. the restaurant is a polished & refined venue. The amouse-bouche was a sublime mushroom cream, & the cèpes terrine was faultless. Wild duck as a main course was excellent.

Not much more, no much less. When grounded on the Essential and mixing the four elements; earth, water, fire and air with the balance dictated by the Universal Law, everything becomes nothing and nothing becomes everything. Enjoy the Chef´s Vidal work and the exquisite attention, treatment and servicing of his energetic wife.
