Loved the location, and the rooms are great. We had the duplex room 403 for families which was wonderful- lots of space, no noises and lots of plugs to recharge phones and tablets considering we have two teenage daughters!! Loved the honesty bar and the fire place, all good!! So picturesque and lovely!!! No noise whatsoever in the morning so we all had a lie-in.... amazing!!

We really liked this hotel. Excellent location, walking distance to all that you would want to see in the old town area. Very friendly staff and parking garage was right across the street. It was a very pleasant stay. Clean rooms.

To sum up, yes the location is good, moments from the cathedral with many restaurants in the nearby neighborhood. The exterior is also quite charming,
Making reservations directly with the hotel was a painful process. Our room was very disappointingly generic, not charming at all as suggested in the photos. It felt like a motel room with dated decor and furnishings. The bathroom had a large tub, but only one cleanser provided for both body and hair . Plastic cups in the bathroom. Flickering lights in the hallway that went on as they sensed motion. As we were at the end of a long walk from the elevator, the lights would not always be on until after we walked a bit past the detector and then they would go dark behind us.
I felt like this was a serviceable hotel, and a good enough value for the money but a few smaller touches would have elevated the experience. It just felt a bit depressingly me.

Just a short walk into the city. Easy to get to by car and a multi-storey car park directly opposite. Staff really helpful. Air conditioned room was so nice after it was 35 degrees outside. Bed was really comfortable

Easy to find, being a very short distance from a tram stop. Very pleasant reception staff and a good first impression. Rooms at the back have no view (but is that really necessary?) but are very quiet. Decent sized room with a spa bath. Very responsive A/C which was a blessing in this summer's heat. Breakfast slightly over priced (unless you eat a lot or prefer the convenience). There are plenty of options in the surrounding area. TV had BBC 1 and 2! Definitely thought this hotel was good value for money.
