Great wine list, especially for Alsace and Jura regions, by the bottle, by the carafe, and by the glass. The glass of vin jaunt for the apéritif was excellent. Try the regional specialities. My dinner was very good. Diners were a mix of French and foreigners. The head guy spent time in Florida so English is easy.

Located in the old town, a short walk from "Le Lion de Belfort" magnificent sculpture. Menu was quite limited which is always a good sign.
Excellent Pot-au-feu and very tasty and light Crème brûlée flavored with Jura yellow wine. A pity the main menu featured so many Provence cuisine dishes. Totally out-of-place in the Jura region. The Anis de Pontarlier aperitive was a great surprise. Entirely different from its Provence "cousins".
Service was fine, prices well in range.

I have been twice to this restaurant and I just love their soup. Everything you order is fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. This is the place to come with friends, family or business partners to relax, talk and enjoy. The owner has perky personality but I guess that goes with popularity. Choice of wines and food is great. It's typical and traditional for Belfort area. It's in the basement and part of old Belfort old town. No wireless signal or Wi-Fi, so you can really disconnect from daily stress and relax.

The restaurant is small and intimate with real character. The food is traditional with a beautiful simplicity to it. The experience was memorable.
