The restaurant is small and intimate with real character. The food is traditional with a beautiful simplicity to it. The experience was memorable.

This restaurant was recommended by a business associate. We turned up on spec and managed to get a table, nice interior and well presented. We fumbled our way through the menu but our waitress was very good and subsequently I believe the owner/chef ? I chose a starter consisting of eggs, smoked bacon and bread in a red wine sauce, didn't know what to expect but the dish was fantastic as was my main course of beef and bone marrow. Really top notch

I was here by myself and was made to feel very welcome. I was served a nice little amuse bouche - a fish terrine with good bread served in a little paper bag. A big jar of fleur de sel was on the table. Nice touch. It was mushroom time so I had a huge plate of girolles in a rosemary-flavoured cream followed by a coq au vin with about 25 morilles in it. A bottle of chilled local light red wine (Côte de Jura). A lively little place with a real diversity of people. The food was good. The servings are huge. The service (two very young women) is not perfect but quite lovely.

Excellent food, friendly and professional people in a nicely decorated place ...
What more do you wish ?
If we have the opportunity we will stop again.
Please be sure that you have a reservation as this place is small and busy.

Suggested by our hotel concierge, we had a wonderful dinner in this small restaurant. Just behind the city walls, it is like a small cellar, with many reference to Spain and words, with many proposal in the menu from the ancient and traditional French foods.

We got some good escargot, a rice with Coquilles St. Jacques and one of the best beef filet I had in the last months. A glass of wine to finish, for about 50 € per person.

Not economic, but the quality was high and the ambience was wonderful. Note the kindness of the owner and the professional waitress.

A little bit overpriced, but the quality was really high.

Make yourself a favour: take your girl to this restaurant for a special evening.. she will enjoy it.
