dined here on Sunday and opted for pizza over the Sunday roast. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and situated by the canal, at the time was surprisingly quiet. Service was friendly and efficient. Possibly the best seafood and calzone we have ever tasted in our lives. Would return here over any other restaurant in Manchester.

A lovely summer's day with plenty of sunshine brought me to take lunch by the canal! This is a cosy little restaurant offering a very reasonably priced lunch menu which was ideal for today's weather! I always start with soup and today's roast pepper did not disappoint! The Caesar salad was extremely generous and the 'tarte au citron' with the requested knob of ice cream was a perfect end! I am always on the look out for a suitable lunch venue given my aversion to cooking! Efficient service and very friendly, welcoming staff! Looks like this will be a regular. And thanks for the cooperative and fuss free way you adjusted the bill from my previous visit!

We popped in for a cheeky bottle of prosecco before departing Manchester. The canal boat bit is not just a novelty but fun! I particularly appreciated the bar person heling us carry the cooler and glasses down the steep hill. Thank you for a nice drinking experience xxx

Came here for luncheon during the Saturday of Sparkle with Sally Anne. Nice location on the cut with a pleasant barge area if the weather is not inclement.
I had the Moroccan pizza, lovely flavours of apricot, lamb and nuts. The pea, mint and hock risotto ordered by Sally Anne was also tasty and served slightly al dente.
So decent food and service all round, well worth a visit if you fancy a quality bite to eat by the village.

The food is very delicious, and the price is more than fair for your meal. The service is second to none. This is a very quant location right on the canal
