Owner description: The world's biggest and best football museum is open 7 days a week in Manchester city centre. The museum is free to enter, and tells the story of the beautiful game through the eyes of everyone from the players, the law-makers, and most importantly the fans.Exploring how football has impacted on and reflected English culture and society over 150 years, it brings stories to life with a range of interactive and hands-on displays. There are world-famous iconic objects including the ball from the 1966 World Cup final, Diego Maradona's famous 'Hand of God' shirt, and even the game's very first hand-written rule book. On top of that there are lots of chances to show off your skills from the penalty box to the commentary box, with a range of Football Plus+ experiences (charges apply - see website for details). The National Football Museum Hall of Fame, on the ground floors, is the official tribute to the game’s greatest players, teams and managers. Upstairs, you’ll find stories from inventing, expanding, following and playing the game. There’s also a Discovery Zone for under 5s, and Level 3 is dedicated to changing exhibitions exploring how art and culture exist alongside the beautiful game.

It was fun. It's free and if u want to take some pictures with the FA Cup & The League you can donate 6£ per person. Also with the donation you can take 3 penalties.

I'm really not a football fan but I still really liked it! Very diverse and a lot of fun and interesting things to see.
Best thing, it's free.

I am not a big fan, but this place was interesting and my friends did appreciate the amount of information they found in there.
They have some historical items that I found quite interesting.

We visited the National Football Museum at the request of our 10-year old grandson and had a wonderful morning out. The museum is interesting with many exhibits that caught the attention and imagination of our grandson as well as invoking many memories for his grandfather!! Whilst entry to the museum is free, we bought the £6 donation package that allowed photographs with the FA Cup and League Cup as well as participation in a penalty shoot out - our grandson's favourite! Participation in other activities involved extra cost - these were reasonably priced and added to the visit - the Match of the Day commentary activity was good fun. Currently, they have a Pele exhibition which is interesting and informative.
Definitely worth a visit, particularly for football fans.
We had lunch at the on-site Cafe Football where the food was very well cooked and presented and reasonably priced.

Thank manswa
