I stayed here just one week after staying at the Hilton deansgate down the road. It was so much better than the Hilton!

Excellent friendly service. Rooms well planned, with robes and complimentary water. Pool area large and quiet on my visit.

Breakfast has an excellent selection of buffet breads, fruits etc. and the hot options ordered at the table. Lovely eggs benedict.

We stayed on a Sunday and attended the jazz club hosted by the steak and lobster restaurant at the hotel. Very good value for money - desert a little let down. But fantastic service, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

I will definitely look to stay here again.

Booked by a friend who is a regular guest, but it was the first time I have stayed. Lovely warm welcome, despite arriving before my friend, the attention to detail from the concierge staff members was outstanding. Bar staff kindly made me a cocktail that wasn't on the menu, while I waited. The suite was stunning. Do use the pool, gym and Spa, they were very good. I can recommend a facial, and manicure. Felt very pampered and well cared for during the stay. Look out for the amazing artwork and sculptures around the hotel. For the history buffs, ask about the site, the building, and the coats of arms above reception. Stunning place and staff.

Room tip: The Valentino Suite - lounge, dining area and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms was very comfortable.

Awesome hotel, amazing staff who were discrete but always ready to help.
The location was perfect for shopping and evenings out.
The room was perfect and bar well stocked. The 2 restaurants were fantastic and the service was great.
I'll be back again soon!!

I stay each year for a few days in June whilst attending work conference. Hotel staff, particularly concierge team, and Deputy Head Concierge, Jimmy always make my colleagues and I very welcomed. Their attention to detail and memory of repeat guests is outstanding. So if you want to visit a hotel which treats you more than just one of the 'guests' then this is the place to stay.

Room tip: Outwardly facing rooms, for example with views of conference centre side of hotel is preferable
