I shared afternoon tea with my granddaughter. The sandwiches were fresh, tasty and thoroughly enjoyable. Scones were freshly baked and melted in your mouth. Macaroons were velvety soft and the choc-dipped strawberries delicious. We didn't have room for the dainty cupcakes - no problem as they were quickly packaged up for us to take away. The drinks were hot and fresh - my granddaughter loved her mocha. The lady who served was helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommended. Prior to the visit they had been quick to reply to e mails/arrange the reservation for us.

Both myself and daughter thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Hey Little Cupcake for afternoon tea on monday 24th July. We were in Manchester to celebrate my birthday.

The welcome and friendliness of the staff was lovely and the afternoon tea which consisted of freshly made sandwiches, warm scones, cream with delicious jam and little cupcakes and macaroons was fabulous.

We will definately return next time we are in Manchester.

Thank you

On Sunday my sister and I attended a Cupcake Decorating Class which I couldn't recommend more. We were so excited from start to finish! We were greeted by Sarah who gave us a quick brief of the session then offered us a welcoming drink whilst we waited for the others to arrive.
When we were settled Sarah skilfully guided us through the different techniques and finishes for the cupcakes. It was fantastic to gain tips of the trade from Sarah - from baking tips to different buttercream flavours, colourings etc.
We were skilfully guided through six different cupcake designs and we were all thrilled with the results - already picking which we would keep for ourselves and which we would share with family & friends (hmmm not many shared I can tell you!)
At the end of the class we were presented with a certificate and recipes so we can give them a go at home. Oh, and we got to keep the cute polka dot apron too :)
I couldn't recommend the class enough. Sarah and her team are so lovely and you could tell they had so much pride in what they create.
I am definately looking forward to booking my next class.

Absolutely disgusted. Pop up cake stall in selfridges Trafford centre promised "selfie cupcakes" for Father's Day . Paid £6 for two and sent the pictures by email to the manager running the concession. I work in the trafford centre so was told they would be ready by 8pm and could be collected at 9:30pm when my shift finished. Arrived at selfridges to a lovely girl on the stall who unfortunately told me she couldn't find them. She put me on to the manager I spoke to when purchasing them, and was told he'd printed them but they'd got muddled up in the orders and he hadn't put them onto the cakes. Was then told I could have a full refund but this did not make up for the cakes which were a lovely personal touch and a present for both my dad and grandad. Was gutted and very annoyed when I arrived and they were not there. Very disappointed.

I wanted to treat my niece to afternoon tea for her 10th birthday but didn't want to go somewhere really pretentious. Hey little cupcake seemed great value for money and the ideal place.

Yes it's small but perfectly formed. The sandwiches and cakes where gorgeous and they were happy for us to takeaway what we couldn't eat.

To top it off they gave my niece a birthday box of cupcakes as a gift. It was unexpected and made Maisie's birthday.

Will absolutely go again and will use for work and future birthday functions.

Wouldn't change anything.
