Clearly there is an abundance of choice when searching for an Indian restaurant on the 'curry mile' but after some local recommendations I'm delighted to have picked Mughli. The menu is a bit more refined than the standard suburban generic section-by-section fare and it's a huge benefit because it means the dishes they offer are superbly cooked, packed full of flavour and the portion sizes are generous. Naan, popadoms, rice (the pulao rice with browned onions is top class) and other sundries are at least 30% better quality than in your standard Indian and the three small plates that we shared were magnificent, especially the masala fish. Butter chicken as a main was superb. Only negative is the drinks which are ridiculously expensive. Their own house draft beer is decent but is a similar strength to a Fosters. If you want Cobra be prepared to pay £5.00 for a SMALL sized bottle. An absolute rip-off. Would definitely return for the amazing food.... would just drink tap water though.
