Great stay in comfortable and clean hotel. Particularly liked the spacious room and the Walled Garden wine bar.
The hotel is very good with attentive staff.
Would recommend for a short stay. Not much to do in Barton itself but a short drive to Garstang.

Very comfortable rooms with good bathroom size and all areas clean and tidy, food was very good from bar to restaurant and staff on hand to help and keep your drink filled up with a smile, the décor is bright and pleasant with a warm glow to the hotel, good parking and easy to find.

We have a group,of over 50 staying for 4 nights at Barton Grange going to the Open each day with other activities slipped in. We chose BG because of their excellent service and we are not disappointed. Each one of the team have mucked in to make sure our clients are having the very best time. Dinner last night was amazing, so thanks Jack, Daniel and all in the kitchen . Thanks Kathryn for being so happy and helpful. And thank you Pam Shorrock understanding the group and delivering an unforgettable experience.

You guys are the best!

We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by a very loud wedding party in reception. The party was clearly drinking heavily but as it was early evening we did not mind.

Between the hours of midnight and 3am there were loud voices, whistling and banging of doors on our corridor, I assume by members of the wedding party as all other guests at the hotel appeared to be couples.

At breakfast the next morning the wedding party were very loud and constantly swearing. We complained to a member of staff but nothing was done about the language, volume and behaviour of the group.

We rushed our breakfast and retreated to our room as the situation was very uncomfortable.

We appreciate that all guests differ but people do not want to listen to guests shouting and swearing at 3am, breakfast or otherwise. Staff members should have asked the group to refrain, and if staff aren't prepared to do this then policy should be that large parties book the hotel exclusively.

I emailed the hotel manger with the above complaint as it ruined our stay. The manager responded by asking for my phone number to discuss my email but 5 days later I still haven't received a call.
