Me and my colleague were booked into this hotel (if that’s what it can be called). We arrived and when checking in - at the pub, you couldn’t hear a thing let alone yourself speak. On heading to the room, the stairs up are filthy. You then pass one of the 3 shared, filthy, smelly bathrooms.
My room was small, and the light switch was broken. The bed was ok - the only thing decent about the stay at the place! There was no electric in the room and the tv did not work, stains on the floor and the walls being so thin could hear everything from adjoining rooms.
That night we had a curry from the Indian next door, that was nice - I’d recommend eating there.
The next morning I risked the shared bathroom for a shower, but had to use some 90p flip flops brought from Primark the night before, no way was my feet touching the floor - bathrooms were filthy and mouldy.
Due to these reasons, my colleague and I refused to stay a 2nd night and sought alternative accommodation.
Avoid this place at ALL costs!
