What a pleasure it was to visit the Apple tree for my Grandma's 70th birthday for an afternoon tea. Firstly the staff are lovely& so friendly, anything you needed they was there. The table looked really pretty, with lit candles, it felt so cosy. The afternoon tea was delicious. There was a range of different sandwiches, fruit scones, cakes with all lovely finishing touches. You got a flute of orange juice on arrival, some had prosecco which was nice. And to top it all of a birthday board was brought out with a shot of prosecco& writing saying happy birthday. Plus there is a lovely little gift shop to look around with some beautiful gifts.
Overall it was lovely afternoon, it won't be long before we are back again. Thankyou for making it special.

Driving through and there was a car parking spot. Very busy lots of dinner reservations, will remember next time to book. Car parking ok at the queens head. Sat outside and had cream tea for one and a black coffee shared the cream tea it not that long since breakfast. All very good. Staff very friendly nice atmosphere. Not telling anyone but they sell off part bottles of gin, remains of gin nights. Will go again now I know where to park.
