An annual weekend away this year to Harrogate with family for a birthday celebration. The hotel is very grand from what you can see through all the renovation construction. The service team were very polite though a little in consistent in their approach to service awareness in my opinion - waited a little to long on the first day for afternoon tea and coffee, though very good when it had arrived.
We ate out for lunch and dinner as Harrogate has a generous amount my eateries about the town so it was worth an explore with the little one. Breakfast was to a good standard, straight forward and what you would expect from a hotel of this size.
There were a few bizarre happenings that were questionable - like your bill being posted under the door at 6am (however this may of been organised by a member of the family) though given the wrong one someone was trying to retrieve it back after they realised. In the end we opened the door to the gentleman's shock. He was very apologetic however just a bit strange.
The car park at £8 per day is also very peculiar you would imagine it be concidering the average rate of a stay?
We a good stay, our family room was of very generous proportion and once the hotel has been finished, one could imagine it would display a totally different character. More
