Glen na Smole Bed and Breakfast

We recently spent 2 nights at this B&B while on a driving holiday of Ireland.Parking can be a bit tight if all the rooms are full but we were able to grab a spot in the evenings. Located a short drive from town, we stayed on the ground floor in a large room with a bath and shower in the ensuite. We also had a small sitting area to spread out in. The lounge was also available to guests but i think we were the only guests to venture into the room.
Fiona was a helpful host giving us sightseeing suggestions as well as options for dinner.
Breakfast was a good array of cereals, fruit and yoghurt as well as a freshly prepared cooked breakfast.

This B&B is a bit out of town but you are able to walk into town to the pubs for a meal. It does take 20 or so minutes but is generally downhill. Which means, of course, that it's uphill on the way back.

We had the lilac room of the ground floor. Bed was very comfy and the room was clean. Only quibble was the poor water pressure in the shower.

There's parking available and free wifi (which worked very well).

Breakfast was lovely.

Worth considering if you're thinking of staying in the area.

This is one of the best and cutest B&B I've ever been to!

The rooms are very comfortable, the beds are big and soft and our host was just brilliant!
Located a bit outside of Wicklow it is near enough to go to the pub at night (you may take a cab back home) and it's very silent at all times.
If you travel by car, there are enough parking lots but it may be a bit hard to locate the first time.

Don't hesitate to book your stay as they only have a few rooms and they are gone really quick!

@Glen na Smole Team: Thanks for a warm welcome and a lovely stay, I hope to stay with you again in the near future!

This B&B is well located within a few minutes of the town of Wicklow. Yet it is in a rural setting and very relaxing. We had a room on the first floor which was spacious, well furnished and very clean.
The stairs leading up are quite steep and very narrow, which makes getting baggage in and out a bit of a chore. Free parking and free wifi (which worked very well).
Overall and good place to stay.

We stayed here while attending a wedding in nearby Tinakilly House. Was so convenient and the place is just lovely
Very welcoming owner and lovely breakfast. Would highly recommend this place. Was very easy to get a taxi back from the hotel here and only cost €8
