Love everything about this hotel not even 50min from Dublin ,stayed 1 night hubby and myself , we both had a full body massage with Aoife and Karen who are just amazing thanks girls ...used the pool area as well we meet loads of people from Rory's Travel including my self ....Dinner was to die for The food is so gorgeous ...Thank you to all the staff in the Hotel hope to see you again soon..and to Rory's Travel

First time to Arklow Hotel through the Rory’s Travel Club offer. Have to say Room 419 was spotless and very spacious and decor was lovey. Beds were very comfy and the blackout curtains were very welcomed the following morning.Hotel and waiting staff were extremely helpful and polite.
Both breakfast and dinner were not to be faulted and generous portions.
Great value for money. And would return again.

Nice hotel, staff very friendly. As a wheelchair user the accessibility falls short starting at the front door, 1st set of doors are automatic but main doors have to be pulled/pushed so not possible for me to go in or out on my own, push button system would resolve this. Reception desk is completely inaccessible as it's so high, moving forward to doors to access rooms, once again 2 heavy doors that have to be pulled/pushed to get through so not accessible in any way, push button needed, so therefore the accessible room is not actually accessible as you can't get through the doors if you're on your own, a young child opened it for me & on 2 other occasions I had to ask other guests to let me in & out, family were with me to do it other from that, takes away your independence unfortunately. Accessible rooms were booked out for this visit so was in a standard twin room, I can use my crutch to navigate small spaces, nice room, good size, very clean, no hooks to hang up towel at sink, hook on back of door would solve this. soap dispenser not practical for me, if it's the same in accessible room then it needs to be looked at for those with difficulties with their hands/arms such as myself. There was very loud music in foyer on arrival for a wedding so you couldn't hear receptionist when checking in as per my mam as she arrived before me. Food was nice, breakfast was good, staff very helpful & friendly. There's 2 accessible parking spots but they're very tight, no yellow box to give extra space for getting out of car, hard to get a parking spot near door, both were in use upon arrival. Pointed out the accessibility issues to receptionist on departure, nice girl, she took note & hopefully she'll pass it on.

The rooms don't seem to match the online photos, we upgraded to a suite and it was great. One or two small issues with the room but our stay was really good. The food I'd really good and good value for money. The outside is a bit drab and first impressions are important but once inside all was fine.

1st Room had an issue with the toilet, this turned out to be a maintenance issue and was very quickly resolved by staff.
Staff was very friendly and helpful and upgraded us to another (lovely) room with a balcony.
2nd Room was beautiful but unfortunately our stay was negatively impacted by a couple in the room next door by having very loud sex in the evening, night and early morning.
I've reported this to the night team & reception & was contacted by the manager for a proper follow up. We talked about the learnings and this was sufficient for me.
(It is always a good sign if (previous) feedback is being read and taken on board.)
This hotel is in the middle of modernisation, so there might be a difference in quality, but staff is easy to approach and very helpful.
The hotel is busy and visitors are from all walks of life, which gives a nice atmosphere.
