Description: Stable Diet is a privately owned Irish food company renowned in the Irish market for their tasty, wholesome wheat free products that include award winning Granola toasted breakfast cereal, porridge and flapjacks. The company philosophy has always been that nature knows best. All food products are based on traditional recipes using natural ingredients and the company prides itself on a reputation for quality and authenticity. True to our philosophy that nature knows best, our products are baked using only the finest natural ingredients and without any additives or preservatives. Our products are handmade in our production unit based on our 18th Century farm in Wexford and have been in business since 1995 when Katherine sold her first carrot cake to the local Health Food Store. Our flapjacks were our first oats product. Wheat- free, they proved so successful we introduced our award winning Granola - Toasted Breakfast Cereals; A heart-healthy blend of toasted oats, nut and seeds, also available with fruit. If you enjoy a hot breakfast you will love our Yola Porridge, packed with nuts and seeds. What could be healthier! Whether you choose to indulge and have a deliciously satisfying flapjack or you need an energy boost on the go and choose a Miracle Munch, we hope you enjoy our products. Our highly trained staff take great care and we would love to hear from you and what you think of our products.

We spotted Stable Diet having just dined in Cistin Eile. We wanted to walk around and said that if we didn't see any other inviting places, we'd come back. We did come back and I was glad.

We ordered Tea and Lattes as well as some treats; a scone, a coconut, walnut and chocolate slice and a bakewell slice. The two sweets came with cream, fruit and a chocolate decoration on the cream. The scone came with butter, cream and jam.

Everything was really lovely. However, I did find it a bit pricey at just under 20 euro for the 3 treats and drinks.

My wife and I spotted this cafe / patisserie at the southern end of Wexford’s main shopping street, when we went for a combined sightseeing / shopping visit to the town recently. We made a mental note that it looked good for a light snack by lunch time, if we didn’t come across a nicer place.
So we called in on our way back to the hotel / leisure centre we were staying in. And glad we did – even though we only had tea / coffee and scones, served with small dishes containing jam, butter and cream. We both enjoyed the snack, great service and pleasant surroundings.
The Stable Diet Cafe & Patisserie also offers a decent lunch menu and there were quite a few people there, enjoying more substantial and well presented meals.
This is quite a popular spot, which is a good indicator of good food and value for money. Would definitely return next time we are in Wexford.
