My fiancee and I stayed in Rathaspeck for 2 nights and felt more relaxed than after 2 weeks anywhere else. Mick could not have done more to help us discover the area - giving us a lift into the restaurants he helped us select and booked for us and suggesting places locally to check out. Add to that the quality of the food, the splendour of the property and the warmth of welcome - couldn't recommend highly enough

A beautiful stay at a beautiful home! Extremely comfortable room and 5* breakfast. Really helpful host who gave us lots of ideas for places to explore on our onward journey!

Cannot recommend highly enough.

Our first stop on our recent tour of Eire was Rathaspeck Manor. We were welcomed by Mick who showed us to our beautiful room and assisted us with luggage. He showed us the guest lounge where we could help ourselves to tea, coffee, water. Some cakes were available too. We were able to choose our time for breakfast and, once again, Mick was on hand to take our order. Coffee was freshly brewed and there was a good choice of juices, cereals, yogurts and fruit on the buffet and a menu to choose hot food. It was all delicious. We were really grateful for Mick's suggestion of a coastal drive around the Hook Peninsula towards Hook Lighthouse. We had a great day exploring this region. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Rathaspeck Manor is situated in stunning grounds with plenty of room to park. It is a short drive to Wexford, I would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Father Albert's Room has the most stunning bathroom we have ever seen!

Delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and the recommendation of Hook Lighthouse. We hope the rest of your tour of Ireland was good and that we were a pleasant start!

Sadly we only stayed one brief night but could happily have stayed a week.

The house is lovely, rooms big and beautifully furnished and the hosts could not be more friendly and hospitable.

We had an early start to get the Rosslare ferry but they insisted on doing breakfast for us at 6.30am!

Thank you for your review, we always like to accommodate the early risers, couldn't imagine getting on a rocky ferry without something solid in the stomach!

Our first time to Ireland and what an introduction we had! Mick and Betty were exceptional hosts. The room we stayed in was beautiful, large, airy, and tastefully decorated. The en suite bathroom was to die for, fluffy towels included! Breakfast was delicious every morning and we had 4 breakfasts there. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and pancakes were our favourites. Mick even kindly got up early our last morning to cook us a full irish before we headed off to catch the ferry from Rossleare. Wexford is about 15 minutes drive away and there are some lovely restaurants in town. We played golf at Wexford, Rossleare (15 minutes drive) and Enniscorthy, all lovely golf courses. We would highly recommend Rathaspeck to make a base from and travel around this beautiful part of the world.

Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful!
