“A National something - and not in Dublin!”
Reviewed 7 June 2015

This is another one of these things, like the road network, that not all bad things came out of the Celtic Tiger. Hidden behind what seems like a row of pretty houses on a back street, it is a full scale opera house, done entirely in the most beautiful timber - it looks like the whole thing was cold moulded, like a yacht. Well worth a visit.

“Stunning”
Reviewed 26 May 2015

Had coffee and cake here but my goodness the views were amazing from the balcony. The building itself had an aura about it and I can only imagine what it must feel like when the Opera Festival is running later on in the year. Beautiful.

“A trip to the Theatre”
Reviewed 19 May 2015 via mobile

One of my favourite places to come to see a show. The whole theatre screams wow. The feeling of opulence and grandeur is amazing.

“Wexfords finest”
Reviewed 7 May 2015

In Wexford, a visit to the opera house is a must, get a guided tour which runs fairly often in summer season for less than ten euro. Hear how it was built and how and why they choose American walnut for the timber for the sound. Go right up to the viewing box and discover an amazing view of Wexford town from the café on the top floor.
