We stopped for an overnight stay at the Faythe Guesthouse on our way to the Port of Dublin and loved it It was so calm and peaceful and breakfast was delicious The location of the guesthouse was good for investigating the locality We did go on a organised 'town walk' and enjoyed our guides talk on the history of the town A must for anyone who is interested in the layout of the town and how it evolved A lovely stay

Room Tip: The Manager will offer you the best room, for you, when you book in

Shelia 1951,

Delighted you enjoyed the walking tours as we think they are a very valuable for showing off our town to our visitors. Would love to see more of our guests taking part in the tours.

Kind Regards

On our way to the Port of Dublin we broke our journey and stayed the night at Faythe guest house. So glad we did. We were greeted with a warm Irish welcome by our proprietor. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was equal to that of a 5* hotel. Delicious. Unbelievable for the price of our stay. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if ever passing through.

Room Tip: Separate accommodation to the back of guest house is very quiet and peaceful.

The Host was welcoming as we had not booked, willing to give advice as to were to visit and eat in town. The room had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Great view from the window out to the coast. well priced for a B&B.

I normally don't write reviews, but this is a great place. We stayed here for 3 nights in a lovely room, clean tidy and very comfortable. The people are lovely, breakfast is the best, great selection, and do try the banana bread!
The location is great, just a 5 min stroll to the main street with pubs and restaurants, or the harbour.
We had a great time and we would suggest it to anybody!!

Lovely large clean room with great views of harbour. Lovely welcome from the landlord. We unfortunately only stayed for one night as we were leaving on the early ferry but an amazing early breakfast was provided at 7.15 which gives ample time to catch the ferry. Absolutely delicious breakfast, huge selection and incredible home made soda bread, cooked daily. Great suggestions for dinner and music in the local pubs.
Many thanks Catherine and Duncan
