Had early sunday lunch at mannions. 12.30 opening was handy as we had plans for the day. Excellent choice. We had good soup. Lovely prawn and smoked salmon. Mains of roast beef and lamb special. Very tasty and generous portions. Sides of vegetables really good.

I would not recommend this pub grub. Reasons: tables too close, almost sitting on top of person at next table. Only a pub serving basic food but you are expected to book a table for food and if you just pop in for a drink you know you are not welcome to sit at a table unless you want food. One night I went in with a friend for drinks. When we arrived we ordered our drinks and went to sit down at one of the many tables that was free but were told these tables were kept for people that might need food. The only place we could sit if having drinks was at the bar.... we did not want to sit at the bar so we left after one drink. the seats were still free and we leaving This is a pub with very basic uncomfortable seating with lots of small tables squashed in to cram people in with basic overpriced food and unfriendly staff. If I wanted food sitting on hard seating and crammed tables I would go to Mc Donald’s...

We have been to Mannions on numerous occasions, both Lisa and Emmett are always most welcoming and accomadating, along with all their staff.This establishment is a credit to this them, the food and hospitality is always of the highest standards. We wish them both all the best in the future. I recommend Mannions to anyone that's looking for a good bite to eat.

We had evening meal here recommended to us by our B&B hosts. Warm welcome from staff. Busy place. Decorated very beautiful. The food was amazing. Enjoyed by all group. Thank you very much

We have called here a few times previously but has always been closed but it was later in the day this time. Very busy but staff were helpful and we were served quickly and the food was excellent. Hopefully we will get it right next time as would prefer to have lunch there.
