Super food salad bowl was overpriced, bowl full of leaves and not much else.Gourmet burger was a major disappointment as the meat was dried out and tasteless.
Staff were friendly.

We enjoyed a really nice meal in casual and comfortable space with friendly servers. We both had burgers and they were so good and served with fresh salad and chips. The coffee is great here.

Myself, wife and 2 teenage daughters went to the restaurant for the first time during a family day out. We had made a reservation and when we arrived we were shown to a table on the top floor. The waiter bought over a board to introduce the specials and he answered all our questions fully. We ordered the burger, chicken burger and the "beefy one" pizza and we asked for 2 bowls of string onions to share while we waited for the mains plus two drinks. The drinks arrived very quickly as did the onions. They were perfectly seasoned and arrived in two large bowls and we all enjoyed them. Not long after the mains arrived. The burger was well seasoned, moist and very big which also came with a generous amount of chips and very tasty coleslaw. The chicken burger (which my girls shared) contained a large chicken breast that was well seasoned and with an extra side order of chips it was more than enough for them both to share. The pizza was the star of the evening with a perfectly cooked base, nicely seasoned sauce and generous strips of medium rare steak covering the pizza. Overall we were all extremely happy with the quality of the food, the service, atmosphere and that with the bill coming to 62 euro we felt we had a first class meal at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back!

Often eaten at Loko over past year and this time I’m conflicted in writing a review which is average at best. Ally is a fantastic, kind and wonderful waitress but the food was not pleasant. Hence the conflict. I will be there again but will stick to the specials. Always good.

Overall a very disappointing evening, a group of 6 friends out for an early bird and a catch up Thursday evening 22nd Feb. We were seated up stairs, table service received by the male waiter was not very professional, when asked questions about the menu, his response "eh eh, i dunno, id have to check" he wasnt familiar with any of the specials provided to us on the board. not a great first impression to the restaurant!
we ordered a couple of starters to share, chicken wings and goujons, i couldn't fault they were very tasty.
We ordered a round of drink, friend ordered a pint of heineken which was flat and warm, didn't seem like it came out of a cold tap. Also, gin ordered at the table, served with approx 10 full cardomon seeds! This was a new one on us... as this was all that could be tasted!! The waiter was called back and asked if the gin could be changed, he didnt seem impressed, eventually came back to the table with another gin...
For the main....a couple of us ordered off the specials, which was lamb tageine, the lamb cutlet was served on the side, no flavour and all fat... the tageine was more or less like beans in a tomato sauce, no spice hit at all, this is not what we expected when ordering and it did not resemble previously pictures of the dish that is on the social media platforms... another dish ordered was a fish and chip... basic dish to get right, youd think? unfortunately not if the oil hasnt been changed in days, this could be forgiven if the restaurant was overly packed and in the height of a weekend rush, not a relatively quiet thursday...
when the waiter came back to clear the table, we may aswell stood up and cleared it ourselves, as he asked us to pass him all the items, rather than coming around our table.
Overall disappointing, and wouldnt entice me to go back in a hurry, such shame, has the potential of a really good restaurant, the decor and location is all in its favour....
