No second time stay

- Great location, near Waterford City centre and bus station
- good costumer service
- average food, nothing special
- dated and old fashioned hotel
- musky smell

Very disappointing

Bed was very uncomfortable. Extractor fan next to room (not bathroom fan) kicked in around 1am both nights and kept us awake. Fire alarm went off at 6.20am, vacated our room (like everyone else), reception disappeared, guests were looking for staff members but there was none to be found, very confused guests, no help from staff until the restaurant opened early for breakfast. Luckily there was no fire but if this happened for real then I'd worry about guests. When checking out later on receptionist never asked how our stay was or apologised for the fire alarm. Restaurant supervisor never wore a mask during breakfast on both days

Thank you for your feedback we appreciate all feedback whether is negative or positive to help us improve our service.

I am disappointed you did not enjoy your recent stay with us. I do apologise the fire alarm sounded. A guest had left the shower door open, and the steam had sounded the alarm. We have 163 bedrooms I the hotel if you were unhappy with you room or were disturbed by noise our reception would have been happy to move you if they had been notified.

Our Restaurant Supervisor is exempt from wearing a mask.

Most Friendly Staff

My wife and I celibrated our 45th wedding annivarsary in Treacys Hotel in August, We found the Staff most friendy and courteous, /i am slightly disabled and at the Breackfast the Manager in charge went out of his way to help us in every way, Very Many Thanks to all. Slainte.

Short break

Disappointed slow service, unprofessional of the staff member to bring us to a table for our evening meal,we booked it at 10am that morning to be met by 2 drunk loud rude couples who were very verbal to us when asked to move by staff member

Treacys

Great enjoyable stay. Service was fantastic and dinner and breakfast were superb. Waiters and waitresses were always around and food came very quickly to our delight.Will definitely return in the future.
