At the heart of the Viking Triangle in Waterford this is a hugely historic and beautiful building .
It's free to visit! It is a working church with the Dean in situe and often hosts concerts due it it's fantastic accoustics - a mist visit if you are here for a few hours, a day, or longer

“Worthy of a wee peek inside”

While you are in the area it is always good to visit the local cathedral and get another look at life and faith.
From front to back this has history and stories galore. From the days of the Vikings until the cathedral was rebuild in the 1770's there is much to read, study and gawk at.
Be sure to take a few minutes to think about the struggles which impacted people's lives and faith over the centuries. Really not that much unlike today except without handheld electronics.
