My wife and I wanted a pleasant and convenient hotel with safe parking that was within walking distance of the town centre.....The Travelodge ticked all these boxes.
During our two night stay staff were welcoming and helpful, our room was clean, comfy bed and quiet.
We`d paid for the breakfast package and were happy to discover that Travelodge have a `breakfast` service agreement with the adjoining American Diner - Rockin Joe`s...this place is half a minutes walk along a covered walk way from the T/L reception to their entrance. The diner comfortably caters for the Travelodge hot breakfast deal and you can chose other options from their comprehensive menu that may or may not be included in your breakfast allowance.
The route to the Travelodge is well signposted, make sure you stay on the main roads on the way there and you wont get lost! Once at the hotel and ready to explore the town - if you chose to walk, it`s a comfortable 20 minute hike along he main road into Waterford. Walking gives folks a chance to (walk off breakfast) get the feel of the area and see some of the historic layout of their well maintained facades.
Follow the main road which takes visitors past the Waterford Crystal factory and onwards to Waterford town centre, take in the sights, sounds and aroma`s of this busy yet quaint town.More
