This is a good solid BnB. it is in a good location, just a short walk to the river, bars and restaurants and the catholic church if you need! Room is adequate with comfortable bed and good ensuite. Breakfast was great and filling. Liam is a good host and gave good recommendations for places to go and bars to visit for trad Irish music.

Evidently the name of this B & B means The Full Jug in Irish (Gaelic) ; and I can only assume that this particular jug is full to overflowing because the hospitality which the McGettigan family extended towards myself and my family during our recent visit was absolutely superb. I wouldn't hesitate to advise anyone who is looking for clean, well-maintained, accommodation with excellent food (and within a stone's throw of Sligo city centre) to look no further than the An Cruiscin Lan on Connolly Street.

This is my second stay at this B & B. The location is wonderful. It close at Sligo Abbey and Yeats Memorial Building. Lots of restaurants and pubs are nearby. Owners of this B & B are so friendly and extremely nice people! There are two types of rooms: en-suit and not. If you are on budget, you can choose a room without bathroom. I would recommend en-suit though. So cosy and comfortable!

Irish B&Bs have changed so much through the years; Liam's and Geraldine's is like stepping back in time ( a good time ).its an old building that's been lovingly cared for. Liam grew up there his entire life. The rooms are clean and cozy with tea and coffee and drinks waiting for you ( because you are probably weary from the road ). The breakfast room is large and welcoming and Liam is there every morning ready to cook you breakfast exactly the way you want it. They really make you feel at home and are helpful in every way possible. This isn't a fancy B&B: it's one with a lot of character. St. Philomena's at the entry desk there to greet you!
