Stayed as a we treat for me and the wife. The room was fantastic lovely and clean, the four poster bed was just pure luxury, everything in the room you could possible need. The outdoor tub and swimming pool was spotless. Great gym as well. The hotel was very clean and the rooms very quiet.
Breakfast in our room was on time and it was to die for and well presented.
Just a couple of we things that could be done. When breakfast was delivered to the room I was asked for €10 to cover the delivery. I had no issue with this however I did inform the guy that I would pay it when checking out. Obviously wife was still in bed I was half dressed and this felt a we bit uncomfortable, a young girl arrived then with a card machine minutes later looking payment.
I felt a we bit preassured then but paid it anyway. Surely this could have waited until checking out.
We would have also stayed in the bar for most of the night but found the prices of mixers almost the same prices as the alcohol shots.
€20 for a strawberry daquiri and Gin with elderflower tonic.
We decided to go into the town then.
Now this wouldn't put me of from staying again. But these prices are in comparison to Temple bar, Dublin.More
