Very comfortable house in beautiful Murrisk. Gorgeous neighborhood. Walk to water, Tavern restaurant, Croagh Patrick. Kids loved the ponies and sheep on property.
We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days in ard na mara house and it was very nice. It was peaceful and had plenty of room for all of us staying and not to mention the gorgeous views!
Went for a lovely stroll on the beach and was very appriciative that a lot of supplies were there like bed linen, towels, washing equipment etc.
Great house and John was an absolute pleasure. Would love to visit again
Fabulous house, spotless when we arrived, great facilities and awesome location.
We were a group of 8 adults (4 couples) and found it worked really well. Westport had some fabulous restaurants and some great opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors.
Second time staying here and still absolutely stunning. Love the house and the area everything you could wish for and more
The house is stunningly set at the foot of The Reek, with a spacious open plan kitchen/diner and living room, lovely conservatory and good sized bedrooms. 3 bathrooms between 4 rooms was a good ratio! Great shower in the shared bathroom. There were 6 adults and 2 under 1s in our group and there was plenty of room.
The kitchen could definitely do with some more crockery, cutlery (sharp knives!!) and supplying basics such as hand soap, washing up liquid and toilet rolls would be appreciated.
Short drive to Westport and Westport Harbour, short walk to Famine Memorial, Abbey Ruins and a lovely pub. The coastal views are incredible and the climb to the summit of Croagh Patrick is absolutely worth the very steep climb.
