We stayed at The Mariner for two nights, during the Westport Bluegrass Festival.
It was our first time staying here, but definitely won't be our last.
The hotel is clean, contemporary, comfortable and relaxed.
Every single staff member is polite and professional, friendly and helpful.

The food (we had breakfast and lunch both days) is cooked to order. This means that breakfast might take a little longer if it's busy, but it wasn't an issue for us, and it's worth waiting for.

It's also worth noting that the hotel caters very well for Coeliacs. This makes a huge difference to those that need it. The menu has many Gluten Free and Gluten Free Adaptible items, and also, a separate fryer to avoid cross-contamination. 10/10!

The room we stayed in was bright and airy, and the bathroom/shower was just perfect.

Westport isn't a big town, but the hotel location is perfect.

The Mariner will be our first choice in Westport from now on.

We booked The Mariner for a weekend break to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the moment we entered the spotlessly clean and bright lobby we were delighted. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendy, the room was beautiful - spacious, with a huge bed, tea/coffee making facilities and sparkling bathroom with rainshower and bath tub. We were genuinely amazed that a little gem like this was to be found in Ireland at such a good price. Hotels often describe themselves as "boutique" when they really just mean small and possibly even drab, or dated. The Westport is a true boutique hotel. Full of character, super-friendly and possibly the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. To top it all, our meal at The Catch was fantastic. It's a casual venue with really good food, perfectly cooked and presented. No fuss or pretension, just great service and excellent quality food. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.
