Some place this, what a find.

If only a lot of other hotels were like this place. Set in the country and looks like it was formerly a big house for the local landlord of an estate. The views are quite something.
Takes some finding as signposting of Eire's minor roads leaves a lot to be desired. Plenty of parking and everywhere about the hotel feels spacious from the surrounding gardens to interior. Very peaceful. Staff very helpful and a good quality restaurant on site. Good value too and everything worked fine.

Unforgettable trip!!

Such a lovely hotel. Location was superb, had a lovely hike up Croke Patrick, and then a nice relaxing evening with some great food and great atmosphere! All the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating! Nothing was too much trouble !Will definitely be back on my next trip to the west!!

Lovely Hotel

Lovely Hotel if a bit too far out of Westport. Friendly staff, good food, clean rooms and nice outside space. Definitely a Brilliant place to have a relaxing short break. Most certainly will be back at some stage

We were reluctant to leave and plan to stay longer next time.

Westport Country Lodge Hotel is located Ballinvoy, Aghagower, Westport, about 3 miles outside Westport town in quite a remote area. We were there to celebrate a christening. A car is obligatory here as there’s no public transport and the area is quite remote, one of its many charms. As some other posts have indicated the food was great and reasonably priced. Great roast beef, fresh vegetables and potatoes – simple but tasteful traditional cooking.

We took some group photos sitting on the wall surrounding the rectangular water fixture with dramatic views over Croagh Patrick and the verdant beauty of the surrounding areas. Set in 35 acres of grounds and there is also a pitch and putt course. We were reluctant to leave and plan to stay longer next time.

Room tip: Best view at front

Room was very nice, decent bed & equiped with everything needed for a stay.

Service: 5/5 - Friendly, efficent & attentive staff
Location: 4/5 - Excellent base - Just a few miles outside Westport
Price: 4/5 - 140 per room with Breakfast for a Sat night.
Food: 4/5 - Great selection & choice for the function we attended in the function room
Parking/Amenities: 4/5 - Ample car parking with close proximity to entrance

Room was very nice, decent bed & equiped with everything needed for a stay.
For a 3* it was a very pleasent visit.
