We truly enjoyed our stay at Westcourt Hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable, the bathrooms are amazing, and every member of the staff with whom we interacted was friendly and helpful. Sarah at the front desk should be particularly commended - she was incredibly gracious and very tuned-in and aware. Give Sarah a raise in pay!
One point to emphasize is that this is very definitely not a handicap-accessible building. There is a flight of stairs from the carpark to the main level, and all of the sleeping rooms are at least one flight of stairs up from the lobby. There is no lift in the building. Wheelchair users, and those for whom multiple flights of stairs are a problem, should look elsewhere. My assumption is that the building predates the statutes that require accessibility and was grandfathered in, but it is surprising and a bit troubling that in 2019, an entire hotel is inaccessible to a significant part of the population. This is the reason for the four-star rating; otherwise, I would give Westcourt Hotel five stars.
