This hotel is smack dab in the middle of downtown. Walking distance to everything you would need. If you are up for a little walk you can visit King Johns Castle, and many beautiful Cathedrals. The rooms are very modern with very comfortable beds and views of the streets. They have a kettle in the room with tea and coffee for the morning. They also have an Italian restaurant located on the premises that has excellent food and reasonable prices. I really enjoyed staying here.

Room was adequate but as it was the marathon weekend we were fleeced and not worth the money at all!
There was no air conditioning in the room and it was so hot we couldn’t sleep at all. Very uncomfortable.
Staff were nice. We didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t review.

Within walking distance to all Limerick city attractions and located just off the Main Street in the city. The George as had a makeover of its bar/ restaurant in recent times and the offerings here are very good.
The rooms are bright and spacious and sound proofed which is very important given its position. If your a light sleeper I would suggest a room at the back of hotel. Check in Is quick and efficient and have found The Staff to be mostly pleasant to deal with.

This is a boutique hotel. Charging high prices. We paid €250/- for 2 nights. We were a group of couples out to celebrate birthdays and go to the races. Unfortunately we were each given a double room which had 2 single mattresses sheeted up together. So sleeping together as a couple was impossible!! Very disappointed! As in this busy life - when one does get away from chores and mundane tasks as a couple- a double bed in a hotel is one of the joys of going away!! But that was not to be had despite paying through our noses. The hotel needs to be upfront on its website re: the ‘double’ beds.

Stayed here for 2 nights on business.

Hotel is very well located to the town centre which is great for evening options.

Good bar / restaurant, great choice of Gin’s.

Staff friendly and rooms were decent without being anything special.

I’d stay again
