The Locke is one of the first pubs visitors and locals alike hang out at in Limerick. So this was also the first for us to get the evening going. Great athmosphere with great beers!

We had lunch there a few time, the open chicken stuffing sandwich is beautiful some of the dishes are a bit expensive but Very tasty. In the summer it's lovely to stop for a drink outside over looking the Shannon staff friendly overall a nice place to visit.

We truly had our best night here as the atmosphere of the place, the song and dance as well as the food/drink all conspired together. The walk towards the bar was alongside the beautiful waterfront with views of King John's Castle. They had live music and Irish dancing between 5-7pm and 9-11pm. We had just missed the first round so we had a beer at the bar and came back for the latter session. The entertainment is located on the first floor under a heading "The olde bar and snug" and dancers come out periodically. Both the music and dancing were excellent! The dancers in particular were vibrant and the band we had was young, energetic and proficient. The bartenders were friendly and prompt. We ate the Irish stew and the shrimp appetizer and they were both delicious. Cannot rave about this place enough!
