Stayed here for a night and took advantage of both the spa and restaurant. Both were wonderful! The spa is spacious, beautiful and relaxing. My treatment was professional and well executed. The dinner was also excellent and the service very good. The room was comfortable and clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on in Ireland! The staff are super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

On arrival at our booked in time of two pm,we were greeted by the receptionist. We were directed to a car park belonging to the hotel in a nearby street. On return we were directed to the upstairs drawing room, where we found a table laid out for afternoon tea. This room is beautifully appointed in the style of the Georgian period. After waiting about thirty minutes I went down the stairs & found another lounge .I asked the waittres there if,by chance we were in the wrong room. She then apologised & said that reception had not informed her that we had arrived & were in the drawing room.
After that things moved along nicely. The coffee was excellent ,but the food was not up to my expectations. The food, which lacked imagination, was not what I would expect from a hotel of this rating. However, It was most relaxing with the catering staff very attentive.
At about four o'clock we decided to visit the Spa.This area of the hotel is located in what was once the basement area of this old Georgian house,& served as coal bunker
& storage area. You could never guess,as it is now a most modern up to date Spa resort. Here we were able to indulge in those luxuries that help time pass peacefully
& quietly. There are saunas of varying intensity,(one has a tiled wall ,which I found a little uncomfortable. Also the steam room was cool,& may not have been switched on during our stay.On balance,an enjoyable, relaxing afternoon.

Room tip: Try to get a room looking out onto the People's Park.

Thank you for visiting and your feedback as well as nice comments on staff. Would love to hear more feedback on food, our pastry chef creates and personally makes every item on our la Maison Pery afternoon tea and would only be delighted to hear all opinions on the food. Hope we can welcome you soon again
& thank you

Beautiful hotel, good service, lovely food. The only problem was no heating in the bedroom so a heater was provided. Not good for an overnight stay in November. On street car parking as well as a small private carpark.

Thank you for staying. It's very rare we need to add a heater to boost heat to a bedroom but with very changing daily temperatures and guests from many destinations it is challenging to suit all bodies but if not to Ones satisfaction we will correct without delay #happytoserve

This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. It is a beautifully restored Georgian building with all the comforts of a modern building. We stayed in the Pery room & it was pure luxury. Dinner & breakfast were delicious. The staff were so pleasant. They did everything to make our stay a wonderful, relaxing & pleasant holiday. It is near a lovely park & art gallery. Shopping area & the interesting milk market is a short walk away. We hope to be back again soon.

Stayed here for weekend with 12 friends and have to say I couldn't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived Damien couldn't do enough for us. Staff were so professional and friendly, rooms are so comfortable as is the Penthouse suite which we were lucky to get, beds were to die for and restaurant food was delicious. We were probably a bit too noisy for this sedate and beautiful hotel but no complaints were made which we were grateful for! Would recommend this hotel as it was top class, thank you!

Room tip: Penthouse has two double rooms, one bathroom and sitting room
