From the moment we arrived we were very impressed with this hotel. The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean. There was no shortage of parking spaces either. The receptionist Alison that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. The children received welcome packs on their arrival also. Our room was on the third floor and was lovely and clean. The breakfast in the hotel is very good. There is a good selection on offer and Alicja the waitress and the manager on duty (blonde hair) were both extremely nice and helpful. We had dinner in the bar on both nights that we were there and it was delicious and good value. The staff in the bar were very friendly also. The pool in the hotel is nice with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The staff in the leisure centre are very pleasant too. I would highly recommend this hotel to a friend. Its a lovely place to stay.

Stayed here in July for three nights in two bedroom suite ; suite was very clean , comfortable and extremely large. Overall hotel seemed quite with limited staff numbers but we found all members of staff very helpful and friendly. Buffer breakfast was fine ; nothing excepetional but everything you would expect. We had included meal option but much to our annoyance the restuarant was taken over by bus tours so we cancelled and had food elsewhere. Leisure facilities were good although the pool seemed a little cloudy ? Yes , there is a halting site across the road but to be honest that did not bother us as we were using hotel as a base to access Bunratty , Lough Gur , Cliffs of Moher etc . I did notice some noise at night but that was from guests in a room nearby. All in all it's a good base to explore Clare , Limerick and the two bedroom suite is very good value for large groups.

We have had three stays in this hotel since April of this year,Only one night stays each, but always happy, the family suites are great ,so much room even for our big family,Being originally from Limerick i can understand why some people would find the location of the hotel an issue, but we have never had a problem there, always on arrival the girls are very welcoming ,We have never been in the bar so it would not be fair of me to comment on it,the hotel itself is clean and friendly, the swimming pool is great for the kids,i do have one complaint about it and it is the leisure staff (just one girl) is very very rude,my husband did pull her up on this our last visit.

I had a fantastic stay at the Maldron Hotel in Limerick. Right from the start the staff were great. Reservations were lovely & check in was perfect. The rooms are a good size & clean. Good modern hotel with a Lesiure center. We had lunch in the bar which I have to say tasted great.
It's a shame this hotel isn't located in the city center as it would make this hotel 100% perfect. The staff make up for the location though....
The Suites are great for Families... With the little kitchennettes.

We went down on a rugby weekend with our friends and to visit friends in Ennis - and although we knew Limerick was dangerous, we thought that it was confined to one area.

Not true - I went to a shopping centre across from the hotel, and there was a plaque that read "the world is a dangerous place not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing." When I asked someone in a shop what had happened he told me that an innocent man had been killed :(there in the last year. I wanted to leave at that point, but my boyfriend was keen to watch the match.

We (party of 6)had sandwiches and a coke and pint of Guinness. We returned the sandwiches and they came back almost in ashes :( We didn't want to attract any attention so didn't say anything.

The hotel itself looks new, but really scruffy, and the crowd were very rough. We had to taxi it to the rugby grounds because the match was on the other side of the city :(

We couldn't get transport back to the hotel; and walking through the town late in the evening was quite frightening, especially as the hotel was so far away.
