Whilst we had no complaints in terms of service, cleanliness, general furnishing and fittings etc, the price that we were charged was very unrealistic for the overall experience. I was expecting a far better standard of room for the fee. whilst the lobby looks impressive, the bedrooms were disappointing. And if charging such rates, the money should be invested into the place where people are laying their heads and storing their goods.
As a final note, there was a very disruptive couple staying next door to us who were arguing and listening to TV loudly all night. Security were quick to come up and speak to them after we called down to reception. We noticed that there were Security guards present on both evenings (Friday and Saturday night) which was slightly unsettling.
I would not recommend this place to others.

Good location - large hotel and helpful staff. Great leisure facilities and good sized pool. A few areas of improvement would be air conditioning in the rooms and refurbishment such as painting in a few areas. Also, the corridors to the rooms in the hotel smelt musky as if the carpets were slightly damp.

A solid 3 star hotel, priced right. The room was modern and the location was fine for the motorway and shopping. It was really just a layover for us but we enjoyed our stay. Adare is nicer, If I would stay near Limerick next time, but you obviously pay more.

Had an amazing 2 night stay with the family. On check in was greeted by the lovely and very helpful Gabriella and Sinead. We booked a family room which was very spacious and extreamly clean. Wifi was free throughout hotel which was a big plus with kiddies. We ate on one evening in the bar which was 5 star, big portions too. Breakfast had a large amount to choose from so we were spoiled for choice. We also used the Leisure centre which was also extreamly clean and we all had a ball in the lovely warm pool. Would highly recommend the Maldron Hotel Limerick. All staff we encountered on our stay were extreamly helpful and friendly.
