A lovely B&B situated very near to the city centre, an easy walk for anyone. The rooms were very spacious and clean and Rosie was a delightful, and very helpful hostess. Free parking and wifi were appreciated. Breakfast was very nice, and the only regret is that there was really no place for our group of eight to gather comfortably as there was only the one couch in the breakfast room. Other than that, the Abbeylodge was a delightful place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Kilkenny, which is a delightful town in every way.

Abbeylodge is the perfect B&B. The rooms are in a separate wing of the home so that you can enjoy both the privacy of a hotel room plus the warmth and service of a family-run B&B. Rosie was the perfect hostess and cheerfully attended to our every need. The location is perfect; it's just on the edge of the city centre offering both easy walking access to Kilkenny's sites, restaurants and pubs coupled with the quiet of a residential neighborhood. There is no need for a car; park it and forget it.

I found Abbeylodge B&B a great place to stay, its very near the city centre & you can walk in/out of town without having to pay for a taxi. Its great to have the option of leaving your car at the B&B ! Breakfast was v nice, variety of fruit, yogurt, cereal & full Irish. The owner Rosie is wonderful at helping you out in general, especially with directions & names of pubs with good food at reasonable prices !!! I wouldnt hesitate in recommending Abbeylodge as a v good place to stay while visiting Kilkenny ! Will head back there, when i visit Kilkenny nxt time.

I recently staying in Abbey Lodge B&B on a business trip. The B&B is ideally located in Kilkenny City been near the many restaurants and pubs that give good food, beverages and entertainment. I was down on a business trip and needed an accessible room because I use crutches to get around. The owner, Rosie, told me this was no problem because they have a large accessible room and a wheelchair ramp upto the house. Full WI-FI facilities available that makes it handy to link-up with work to get them an up-date on the trip. as said the room is spacious and has a TV with all the channels I needed. The breakfast the following morning was more than adequate and filled me for the day. My hosts, Rosie & Mick, are a lovely couple that looked after me so well. Large carpark at the front with plenty of spaces. Again I would recommend this B&B for singles, couples and families alike. The owners too have two lovely kids that play football in the front yard.
