Very clean hotel and super friendly staff -we loved our stay, grounds are beautiful and atmosphere was great-brilliant live music in the hotel foyer at night on the weekends.

Stayed in a Manor House Suite for one night. Enjoyed a massage, time in the spa, a walk within the grounds, and dinner at The Grill & Bar. The room was large and very satisfactory. The spa was pleasant. The restaurant food was okay (had a burger with no choice on how to be cooked which signals to me it isn’t fresh which I would expect at a site of this calibre), drinks were great. The staff overall are fantastic and friendly with a real can do attitude and mucking in together to give a great experience. The hotel grounds are wonderful and with two distance designated walks (2.5km and 4km) options are simple to navigate. Were it not for some overspilling noise from the resident’s bar overnight I would have given 5* overall. Staff however responded positively when discussed and made additional efforts to make things right so you can’t fault that.
Bumped into the owners while walking the grounds. I get they live on site but a short chat with customers wouldn’t go a miss. You never know who your customers are.

Recently had a 3 day break with wife and two kids, absolutely loved it. Start to finish our stay exceeded our expectations. Food was amazing, rooms spotless but the service was just perfection. We can’t wait to come back. 5⭐️
