We were recommended this pub at our B & B and was told that for pub food it was pretty good. If you go expecting pub grub you will be pleasantly suprised . My partner had the ribs and thinking we could share, I ordered the bar snacks for two, big !is take as that meal alone could have fed three. This was good and the ribs were great. Staff very friendly and courteous and the beer was cold. We were there on a Monday night and the musicians were fantastic.

WE stayed extra long the one evening we were in Kilkenny. This is a fun pub, lots of singing and laughter....and beer! WE stayed extra long because of the two singers who also played various instruments.We enjoyed their choices of Irish music a lot.

First Irish dinner and couldn't be happier. Staff was very insightful. Tried the local Kilkenny Beer on recommendation and it did not disappoint. Food was top notch. Service time was very appropriate. Great river view from 2nd floor

Met an old friend for lunch and had never been to Kilkenny...a great city to visit overall if your touring through Ireland as we are. Excellent ambiance by the river and all guests loved their entrees.....Pork Chop and Guiness Beef Stew. Obviously we didn't visit any other restaurants, but this one was very good.

We arrived for a late lunch and had a few pints. The atmosphere was great so we returned for some music. The food was great and the service prompt.
