Matt the Millers IS now one of our favorites in all of Ireland. Wait staff was quick, friendly and attentive. The meal was obviously done by an expedienced chef, nice plate presentation. We're making plans to go back in the evening.
The walk around Kilkenny was pleasent as well.

Great atmosphere, great food and the dessert was awesome! Broad choice of beers and friendly staff! Both chicken and stew where tasting and well presented. It's totally worth!

Although one of many bars we experienced in Kilkenny, Matt the Millers was entertaining on all levels. The live music is a tradition at the bar and the musicians engaging, talented and receptive to suggestions.

We did not eat at the pub, but they had ample supply of beers, stouts and ales. It was always exiting to try something new.

Fantastic staff and service all around. Check it out!

This pub/restaurant was recommended to us by the b&b, and it was spot on. We were upstairs with a nice view of the river and we were amazed by the great musicians playing Irish music downstairs. The steak I ordered was tender and tasty, although it wasn't exactly rare as I had asked, but very good though. The sauce was delicious. Great overall experience, highly recommended!

Great place for a beer and early dinner. Nice crowd with traditional Irish music. Food was delicious. Staff was very attentive to our needs. Would definitely come back.
