Aiden was the best tour guide we had on our entire Ireland trip. This beautiful town set the bar high for the rest of our visits/tours as we made our way around Ireland. I highly recommend this tour for families and anyone wanting lots of cool stories and information on this interesting little place!

My husband and 18 year old son had a 2-hour “private” bike tour with Aiden. (Lucky for us, no one was in our time slot.)

I’ll begin by repeating the title, Awesome Aiden! From the moment we met him at the bike shop until the second we left him, he was nothing short of perfect. He was engaging and a wealth of knowledge about the town. His stories were never boring-always the right amount of history balanced with a bit of Irish humor. The length of the tour was perfect, and we took his advice, and climbed the tower the next day.

Aiden, thanks to your hurling enthusiasm, we are looking forward to seeing the All Ireland game this Sunday at a pub in Dublin. !

Our cycling scavenger hunt and hurling experience are among the most memorable moments we had during our trip to Ireland. Only would have liked more time to do the cycling scavenger hunt because we enjoyed it so much but we nearly finished!!! I wasn’t sure if the scavenger hunt was going to be too easy and more for kids but it was challenging if you chose to not just visit each site but actually collect information to gather answers to the provided questions. We met so many wonderful knowledgeable people in the town along the way that we wouldn’t have otherwise without something like a scavenger hunt. After the cycling we had an incredible time with Randy, a former professional hurler who not only taught us the basics of hurling and it’s history, he coached us in playing our very first hurling match. Needless to say, we were very sore the next day but well worth it. Randy was knowledable, kind, and incredibly talented. We ended this remarkable experience with a pint and shepherds pie at the hurling-themed pub. A experience better than we could have dreamt up!!
