Myself and my partner along with a couple of other family members were in Kilkenny on holiday in June this year and we done the cycle tour, it was a great experience from the start when we picked up and got fitted for the bikes the guy Jason was very fun and interactive which helped ease the nervous feeling of not having ridden a bike for some years but as everyone says "its like Riding a bike you never forget !!" so off we went on our trip and met our tour guide Charlie who recommended that we cycle to the Dunmore caves which was about 11 km's each way but certainly did not feel like that ,as we cycled at our own pace he explained some history of Kilkenny and was happy to answer any questions we had , he was also very funny and made us all laugh as he took some photos along the way for us ,he also made us feel very safe as we cycled and helped us get a feel for our bikes and get used to different gears and signals as we went along. My partner who was most nervous and shaky at the start said Charlie was so nice and mindful of her safety which was a real comfort and made the trip more enjoyable for her. All in all I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Kilkenny it's a really great way to learn some history of the city see some of the beautiful scenery and have a real laugh along the way :)

Jason hired us 4 bikes, kitted us out with helmets and hi-vis and sent us happily off to Bennettsbridge. So far so happy, until a puncture halted us 20mins into our adventure. We called Jason, who steamed out to us promptly in his van and instantly replaced the bike with another.
Onwards and later hiked home along the Nore as planned; a truly beautiful walk - and level as it's by the riverbank. Delightful day, very reasonable and excellent support from Jason. (Two children aged 7 and 10 kept saying how much they loved it!). Recommended.

We did the two and a half hour tour of Kilkenny with Jason as our guide and found him very informative and amusing. He kept us out of trouble on the roads and in the Castle grounds and gave us a great overview of the city, showing us most of the guidebook sites. My husband even went back in the afternoon to hire one of his road bikes. The bike I road was in great condition, it was a relaxing and enjoyable way to see Kilkenny, can't recommend it highly enough.
