Overall a nice visit. I had the bacon and fruit pancakes, they were lovely. My husband had the bagel but it was quite stale unfortunately. We had booked a pod online but they were all full when we got there so we sat on the normal tables outside, so there actually wasn’t any point in booking online. Staff and location were lovely!

When looking for a place to eat,

In Kilkenny, no visit is complete,

without a stop at the Cafe Muse with it's

good eats, lovely surroundings and booze.

The setting is delightful even if the weather is frightful.

The garden pods are so cosy (and private against the nosy).

The staff are so very charming and the prices not too alarming.

The offer breakfast, dinner and lunch and even a mid-day brunch.

The food is so fantastic (remember to wear pants with waistband elastic!)

Ignore the bad review - these people don't have a clue.

Instead, don't hesitate to race to this absolute gem of a place!

Stopped here mid shopping trip to Kilkenny as we had heard great recommendations. We sat in a Pod outside and it was a really lovely experience. The Staff were very friendly and chatty with the kids and we had the Christmas Sandwich and some sausage rolls. Couldn't resist the chocolate biscuit cake with a coffee after. Overall it was very tasty and we will make it our regular stop when in town.

Came here again for brunch.we hadn't booked the pods but the server checked availability and we were able to get one which was very much appreciated as it was cold outside but we were very snug....and smug...with our heated pod. Coffee really good and food to match. We tried lots from big al breakfast bap to pancakes to eggs benedict and all were great. Good value and well presented. The epic hot chocolate lives up to its billing too. Last time I came the setting was super with weather to match. This time weather wasn't great but setting still is. Would wholeheartedly recommend as a hidden gem in KK. A step(or two!!!) above the norm

We were here a few months back and the food was amazing. Came again and it was disgusting. We got the eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were cold and way over cooked, the bread was a rock you could break a tooth on it and the hollandaise was basically scrambled egg. I don’t know what has happened to the food but it’s an utter disappointment
