Breakfast good, but monotonous. I would have liked to be able to drop my bags before parking. Xxxxxx

I stayed with my 80 yr old mum and my 2 children. Originally we were very disappointed with our room allocation, v small, one small window and really stuffy. I spoke with a duty manager, and I’m so sorry I didn’t get the man’s name but he was wonderful(Sat 5th) He spoke with me and listened attentively while I outlined our disappointment but that I didn’t want to cause a fuss, I just wanted to point out that for the money we paid it was very bad value. He kindly and quickly showed us to a family room, that I had thought we had booked and was very apologetic. It changed the whole atmosphere of our stay for the better. We had a lovely swim, followed by a delicious meal and we had a very comfortable nights stay in our new room. We will definitely return.

This hotel was part of our tour group experience. The location is excellent and you can walk easily to many local historical attractions.

The rooms are spacious and we were fortunate enough to get an end room that was very quiet.

The bathroom shower is a bit challenging to operate so be careful not to burn yourself. There is a doorstop just in front of the tub so you have to be very careful getting in and out .

The buffet breakfast offered for our tour group was excellent. Great variety of hot and cold options. The challenge was due to the size of two tour groups dining at once, the room was very very noisy. Perhaps the dining room manager could stagger tour group start times .

We did pop down to look at the pool and fitness area adjacent to the hotel. Great facilities. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use them. Just a heads up they do require a swim cap for the pool. They are available for purchase if you forget yours
