We planned a sightseeing tour of Ireland and chose the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel as our base. We are delighted with the offer and the pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. Everything was perfect. We arrived late in the afternoon, tired from the trip, but we were already greeted by friendly staff at the reception, and we knew we had made the right choice. The hotel is in the centre, yet in a quiet street. Spacious room and bathroom, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, everything needed was available. The breakfast was royal, with a rich offer for everyone, and the friendly staff was always at your service. The hotel has congress halls and a pool for relaxation. We enjoyed our week and are grateful to the friendly staff for the wonderful memories. Also Kilkenny is a beautiful lovely town, very tidy, full of flowers which apart from historical sights offers good entertainment in restaurants and pubs.

Great hotel, perfect location, good breakfast. Staff helpful and very friendly. Only downside was family room didn’t have 2 double beds, was one double and one single and a camp bed, rooms very warm. Perfect otherwise and would stay again.
