This is a great hotel right in the heart of Kilkenny. It’s just a short walk for most of the attractions and some really good bars! The food was very good in the restaurant and the staff friendly and efficient. Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Kilkenny.

It was a last-minute booking having been let down. Staff were amazing, especially maggs at Breakfast, she deserves a pay rise ! She spoke and assisted everyone who came down for breakfast and she was Lovely. The car park needs better signage to indicate its for the hotel. The floor in the room needed hoovering better.

Great location, great staff. I always stay here, but it seems the cleanliness has gone down hill, place needs a good power wash, including the ormonde signs out front

We originally booked for 1 night as we were guests at a wedding in Kilkenny but enjoyed our stay so much in this hotel that we booked a second night.
The staff were all so pleasant and courteous at all times and went out of their way to accommodate our every need.Ineed to give a special word of gratitude to Mags ....she is something else.
This lady certainly knows her job and loves making sure that everyone enjoys their stay...she gives sterling service and is such an asset to this Hotel.
