My husband and I stayed with my siblings and their spouses. We had three couples total traveling together. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel is lobby is very nice. Loved the hotel and the town. The only negative is the parking is across the street. Dragging luggage was a little bit of a pain.
Even with that I would stay here again. More

Lovely spa treatment by Jessie, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the spa and the leisure club, helpful staff. who even validated the parking ticket. Lovely complimentary sweet treat after the spa treatment.

I stayed for two nights B &B with my golf buddies and we had an excellent meal in the Hoban restaurant one night. The staff were very efficient and friendly (especially Christine on reception and Mags at breakfast) and the rooms clean, comfortable and well appointed. I was also very impressed by the leisure centre and took advantage of some chill out time in the sizeable pool and steam room. Kilkenny is a lovely little city and the Ormonde couldn't be in more central position to explore it.

KO Spa ...What an amazing experience, phoned in and Sarah was so professional and kind. Booked facials for 4 of us and 1 of our party fell ill. Not a problem, wonderful experience, loved the platters of sorbet, macarons, and truffles at the end of our facials, a truly enjoyable experience and we will all be back so thank you to Sarah and the other 2 lovely ladies who made this a thoroughly enjoyable experience

The hotel is lovely & in a perfect location. Dinner & breakfast both of a poor standard. The staff made us feel like we were going to run off without paying for drinks etc even though we had prepaid for dinner bed & breakfast upon arrival. The bedroom was a great size and so comfortable. Sadly We Wouldn’t return as the poor quality of the food let them down.

We spent two nights at this property. Our welcome was warm and friendly, our room was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We had dinner the first night and service was excellent and the meals were delicious. The restaurant staff was attentive and right there if we needed anything. The presentation of the food was outstanding. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, very rushed and confusing. No matter, we got through it. We spent nearly 2 weeks in Ireland and our stay here was a highlight! Very well done and thank you!
